Lauren Flanagan Russo, CFP®, MBA
Lauren Flanagan Russo is a Vice-President and a senior planner at Zynergy Retirement Planning, LLC, a financial planning firm specializing in working with mature adults over 50 years old.
Lauren spent the better part of a decade in financial services, beginning at Merrill Lynch and ending at a community bank here in Monmouth County, before joining Zynergy Retirement Planning in 2012.
Lauren has served on many nonprofit boards through the years. Currently, she serves on the board of LeTip of Red Bank and is an active member of her daughters’ PTA. Lauren is a proud co-founder and treasurer of Zynergy Cares, a 501(c)(3) foundation dedicated to improving the community through philanthropy and service.
Lauren holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and is also a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Lauren is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® professional. Lauren was recently named as a 5 star money manager by New Jersey Monthly Magazine, ranking in the top 2% of all money managers statewide.
Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration and Spanish from Ursinus College, where she was captain of their Division I field hockey team. She received her MBA from Monmouth University and is a graduate of The College for Financial Planning’s CFP® Certification Professional Education Program.
Lauren lives in Ocean Township, NJ with her husband, six children and their cavapoo.
